Once I got out of art school, I yearned to learn more about watercolors. I took a class, and loved it The instructor encouraged us to paint outside of class, and bring our works in for a critique. She liked my paintings, but insisted that I not use black as a background. When I finished the class, I tackled these lilies and ignored her advice. |
