| Lills loves riding in the big Jeep, ready for an adventure or a Sunday jaunt. She’s quite patient, although you can tell from her expression that she’s anxious to get the show on the road. She has her own fancy dog seat in the back, and it’s just high enough so that she can look out the window. Her portrait was fun to do, but took some careful planning to get the many shades of grey right. The Jeep has cool grey tones, and Lills’ fur has warmer greys. I completed everything but the edges of her coat, and then went back in with white pencil and thin strokes of white casein to help the edges stand out against the dark background.
