This still life is a playful expression of my favorite things. The elegant Bessie Smith figurine, which my wife found in a tiny dollshop on Cape Cod, represents my interest in jazz, and my appreciation of pretty women. The sheet music reflects my love of classical music and my guitar playing. My repertoire includes some classical pieces, a tango or two, and a favorite song from Ennio Morricone’s “Legend of 1900”. And of course, what could be nicer than a glass of wine with my music? |
